I have a windows 8 laptop that is relatively new and I want to make a gaming video for my youtube channel mericanlego, is there anyway I can record my screen using my computer? I have a webcam and such already built into it if that helps
The best thing you can do is to get a 3rd party recording program. I recommend Bandicam, Fraps, and at th very least CamStudio. All have free trials and paid versions. I suggest checking these out and if you like them give em' a few tries and get working. Other than that I have no advice. Good luck!
If you want to record using your webcam as well, just use the Windows 8 Camera app and run a video of you recording side by side with (my favorite screen recorder) FastStone. Easy to use and works very well.
CamStudio or Camtasia sounds like what you're looking for.
