I got a new job and when they hired me they had me fill out the paperwork and told me that they were going to put me through a staffing company instead of through the actual company that hired me. Does anyone know why they would do that?
Cost. The staffing company pays you and handles all benefits. The company at which you will work picks up the tab and pays the staffing company for their help but it's cheaper than having you on the payroll.
