I've got a 305 and the 200r4 in my 86 monte. I know some people would say that's a livable set up, but, well, I'd rather have a better set up. Rather then buy all new stuff, i was thinking used gear from craigslist.mSo a nearby guy is selling a monte for $1500 w/ a 350, high lift cam, t350 w/ shift kit &2800 high stall converter, line lock tires w/ decent rims. However the floor, interior, and paint is awful, and the car wouldn't be driven ever, just stripped. Should I buy that monte? How low ball is too low? $1000 sound good? Or not worth it at all? Any advice is helpful, just don't be an ahole please, thanks.
