If you want to wear it in public then wear it, don't worry about what people says to you. It's your hat, your head, and your opinion to wear it.
if you like it wear it and don't let anyone tell you it's stupid. have fun with your style,and if anyone says anything show them pictures of other people wearing hats with ears and faces. that should shut them up.
