I recently landed a job at a preschool very close to my home. My two year old daughter currently attends preschool in another city about 40 minutes away from our house. I was thinking about transferring her over to my workplace because it uses alot of gas going back and forth to her current school. I want to know do you all think it will be possible for me to teach my own child or is it against the rules or something? I know you might say its unfair to the other kids or she wont be as independent and focused since her mom is her teacher, I will try to get her into another class room at my job if I can't, but I just wanted to know is it legal?
It's legal, but your school may have policies against it. It's certainly not advisable if you can avoid it.
It's probably legal because it's just preschool. But she might be better off with another teacher if it's available. If not, having her in your class is better than having to drive 40 miles. I hope this helps.
