Feeling stressed and anxious.. should I go see a psychiatrist?

So I think I've always been more anxious than other people, but especially this semester with classes I've been feeling stressed and anxious! And when I'm feeling stressed, I noticed I feel short of breath, and a pressure in my chest. And something really scary happened to me recently.. I described what I was feeling to someone and they told me I may have a heart attack &should seek care right away! When they told me this, I felt like I couldn't breathe and was going to faint. But this made me schedule an appointment with a doctor today. She did some tests on me, and said everything seems fine. She recommended that I go see a counselor. She didn't think I should see a psychiatrist right away. I wish I would have told her this, but I don't feel like I need to see a counselor.. My grades in classes are fine, and what really worries me the most is the physical symptoms I'm experiencing w/ stress &anxiety. I don't think this is normal and I feel like a psychiatrist will know what should be done.. what do you guys think?
Sure
There were people of similar symptoms in my acquaintance. If I strongly recommend him, he went to the hospital immediately. Of the drug that was prescribed in the hospital, it is temporary, but seems to have become very easy. His heart was also recovered in the meantime. You go to the hospital for mental problems it might be hesitant, but I recommend that you go before they become serious.
