I am VERY worried. He is 16 right now and these issues have been developing for the past 4 years. My mom has been through hell, but lately it's just getting worse. Here's the most recent example: We're watching the news about a young girl found dead in the river, killed by her boyfriend. My brother immediately starts saying "I know exactly what happened: She was probably messing around and he got so heated that he strangled her but he didn't mean to kill her." He even starts talking about what his plan probably was. I've never heard him talk like this. Anyway, my mom says something in response that he didn't like, and he just snaps. Every time he snaps, he goes into this uncontrollable violent rage and I am so so afraid that he is going to go too far one day. He has this thing of stabbing random objects repeatedly with knives when he gets mad, and setting plants/paper on fire. I promise you he has antisocial personality disorder. He never has any remorse. I don't think he has a conscience. He's hit my mom, and he ALWAYS puts the blame on her, ex: "it's your fault, you shouldn't have said anything that would make me mad"..You never know what's going to trigger it. We have to walk on egg shells and I need to know if there is any hope for someone with this disorder. He will not get help. Once he was on antidepressants and it seemed to be working, but then he stopped taking it and now he's gotten worse. Please please help. Any insight would be VERY much appreciated.
