Michigan Medical Marijuana question?

Posted at: 2014-06-09
A few months ago I was diagnosed with Gastritis. For the three months preceding this diagnosis, I was unable to consume more than 1000 calories a day and my weight started to wither away until I reached a low of 130lbs (I am 6 ft tall, typically around 145-150lbs, so already quite skinny). I was given an endoscopy and the doctor determined that I had an ulcer that leaked some dried blood into my stomach and that my intestine was enflamed. Anyway, I was prescribed prilosec and my symptoms have gone away for the most part and I can eat regularly. My question pertains to whether or not I would be able to receive a medical marijuana card in Michigan for my Gastritis. (i am 18 and will be enrolling there for college next fall). Before you question my motives, I want to say that in the months before I was diagnosed, marijuana was the only thing that helped me to consume those 1000 calories a day. Additionally, seeing your body wither away before your eyes over months without why takes a toll; I had frequent suicidal thoughts during this and the marijuana helped settle me down and put things in perspective. My brother has Ulcerative Colitis, leading me to believe my family might have a history of gastrointestinal problems. I am skeptical that my symptoms might return when I am weened off this medication and I feel that I would benefit greatly from a natural alternative (marijuana) that could help me get through each day. Any insight or advice would be appreciated.
Nope, the medication that you were given took care of the problem You are a doper looking for a loophole, I know it and you know it and yes I am being truthful
