So I just signed my contract a couple of days ago. Let me start off by saying that I am happy with my decision I have made and the rate I picked. I have always had a passion for mechanics perfably cars. The rate GSM was booked for months ! So I went with GSE never been much of a electrition but open to start learning, I mean thats what A school is for haha. Plus my recuiter told me that its a " cleaner " job. He also told me its a really good rate and its a money maker out of the navy. And that when the times comes the navy will offer me bonuses to stay in a continue my career with the navy. My questions are is this really true ? I cant find much on the internet on civilian GSE jobs, and what should i expect bieng a GSE from the first couple of years and so on. He also told there are alot of GSE's in hawaii and japan ? Im reallyy hoping for hawaii i know thats not forsure. Any information is appericated thanks
