Toshiba Laptop making loud noises?

Posted at: 2014-06-09
I've had this laptop for around a year and 6 months and it'a a Toshiba laptop satellite L870D. A week ago my laptop starting make loud noises presumably the fan so I've just ignored it. Within the week I couldn't browser the internet for a couple hours without it making the sound throughout the day. I opened the laptop up a couple days ago to clean out any visible dust blocking the airway system and noticed nothing blocking the free air. I've noticed that when I'm idle my CPU is 5-6% and makes no sound but upon opening a tab, it shoots up to 100% CPU and makes sound. Any solution or suggestions will help. Keep in mind this problem has only been happening for the past week.
Sounds more like malware/viruses. these nasty's tend to tie the operating system in knots so that the computer works overtime - maximum CPU load. Download and install Malwarebytes Free from the link below and run a full scan. Once finished, make sure you select all items found and choose to remove them.
Yes could be the fan or might need to reinstall the os , i had similar problems in the past with the cpu staying at 100% come to found out it was adobe flash player and google chrome reinstall both programs and the cpu ran normally the sound was coming from the fan throttling up from the laptop processor being at 100% , could be a program or a hardware issue check event logs as well for a trouble code
turn the vol. down.
