EXPLAIN/SHOW HOW TO GET ANSWER because I don't understand this. Please help :(
in a cube all sides are equal so volume= length x width x height = v = l x l x l v = length^3 0.01562 = length^3 cube root ( 0.01562) = cube root (length^3) 0.25 = length
Volume of cube of side a is given by a^3 whence a^3 = 0.015625 = (0.25)^3 giving side a = 0.25 ANSWER because (0.25)^3 = 0.25 x 0.25 x 0.25 = 0.015625
a cube is equal in length width and height volume is determined by multiplying these three measurements .25 x .25 x .25 = 0.01562
In a cube, Volume = side^3 OR side = cubeRT volume. Take the cube root of 0.01562 to get 0.24997, which is approximately 0.25 Volume is in cubic units and length is in linear (first-degree) units.
Take the cube root of the volume using a scientific calculator. There is a good one in Windows Accessories, just set the View to Scientific.
