Hello, I was in hospital for 4 days 3 weeks ago. I had bronchitis and pneumonia as well. I'd had an IV needle inserted into a vein on the upper hand area (opposite side of palm). Had the needle in for 3 days. Now 3 weeks passed, the vein area is still remained bumpy (swollen) comparing to my other hand. And I feel it is hard too. 2 weeks ago I had this feeling where my hand would go numb and comes back to normal after 3-4 seconds. That is no longer happening anyway. Should I be worried? Or are these things normal due to IV needle saline treatment? Thank you
Normal.
