I have a Yahoo Merchant Account with a website. Ten days ago It stopped letting me publish the site with an update. Called and was told they know about issue and working on it. Phone rep sent it to an advanced team. Got email saying would hear back in 24 hours with solution. That was 5 days ago. Now when I call Customer Service I'm put on hold only to get hung up on after 1 hour and I email everyday and get nothing. Customer service went from a +10 to a ZERO in 5 days
Yahoo is having some very serious 'growing pains' is the way I describe it, but that lack of response is not acceptable. If your site is up, then it is not too bad, but if it is down You should immediately make plans and move your site. it is a simple matter of downloading a complete site file set, establishing a new hosting account elsewhere, transfer your files, then reset your DNS records to reflect the new host. if everything goes smoothly you could be ready to update in an hour. if you need a hosting company reco, tell us.
