hello so i started on acutain 3 months ago to get rid of acne and just as it was starting to go away the tennis season started and i started getting really burned and the dermatologist said i had to stop acutain. i really want to get rid of my acne and since i am stopping will it all com back again i am freaking out and really depressed what should i do
Hey, I took Acutane for 5 months. My treatment wasn't full. That means I stopped and then got back on it again. My advice would be to use sunscreen with SPF 30 (preferably non-comedogenic and no oils) if you're gonna be outdoors. Also, when I ran out, my dermatologist once told me that Accutane stays in the blood for 30 days, so don't worry because it won't all just come back. Good luck :)
