My bf and I were on/off for 3 1/2 years and I was always the one calling the breaks. He was always more into me than I was into him and I know he loved me. He even bought me a promise ring after 6 months of dating. We were 18 and were now 21 &22. A lot has happened in those years though. I cheated on him, he cheated on me, there was physical and verbal abuse on my part and he once put his hands on me. I went behind his back and talked to other guys, he did cocaine behind my back. It was just a broken relationship but we loved each other and wanted to work at it. This past year has been great for us. We were trusting each other again, communicating better, fighting less. But a few weeks ago he broke up with me out of no where. He said he wasn't happy anymore and so much has happend in the past that it's changed the way he feels about me. And although some things changed other things didn't and he can't deal anymore. But just a few days before everything was great. He was telling me how much he loved me and how he couldn't wait to spend the whole summer together. A week before he came home for spring break and we spent every day together. But one random day this woman comes to town and they go out with friends for drinks and after that night everything changed. He told me he had temptations with her and he thinks he likes her now. Right after he broke up with her he went and made out with her. &this was all after one night!! How did he move on so fast? Is she a rebound?
