I don't see myself having any other career and want to become a high school math teacher. When I was younger I had self-harm problems that I can now control, but the scars that I gave myself when I couldn't are clearly visible and are on the outside of my arm. People don't ask me about them anymore, but I'm worried that I will have problems gaining employment as a teacher because of them.
Use it as a plus, don't see as a negative. I think we become more insightful &understanding in the days we have ahead of us when we learn from our mistakes. I think you can become a wonderful math teacher, go for it. Take Care Be Safe!!!
Wear long sleeves and do not give any unnecessary information. That way, nobody knows. Congratulations on licking a major problem which plagues many female students.
