Could Mammoths come back?

I think this is definitely possible. I think that just like new breeds of dogs and cats come by accident, a new breed of furry elephants could come up. I know they won't technically be mammoths, but they would be very similar. A elephant could accidentally be born with a lot of fur and they continue to breed that type of "Woolly Elephant." Just like with hairless cats, it was an accidental new breed. Do you think Woolly Elephants could be possible?
Well if you see how many species are dying and how we're polluting te earth there won't be any life in the next 500 yrs tops.
well last i knew we could clone sheep and they are even making body parts in labs so i guess anything is possible as long as all the DNA is complete.
Who knows.
Mammoths will walk the earth again! But it won't be accidental, it will be result of the planned scientific experiment. I live in Yakutsk Russia, here scientist are constantly undigging frozen mammoths' remains. Recently they found a well preserved mammoth remains. Using the right mammoth cell scientists can clone the mammoth. The result will be a halfbreed between mammoth and the elephant. I am not sure what laws or difficulties holding them back from doing it right now. As you may have heard scientists in the 1990's have successfully cloned sheep.
