How can I increase the humidity in my Royal Pythons vivarium?

So I moved my Royal from a large plastic box and into a vivarium a few months ago, the humidity in the plastic box was absolutely fine, but now he obviously has more space and a bit more ventilation. He has two ventilation vents and he's on aspen. I've got him a large water dish directly under the heat source and I spray the viv twice a day, but even just 2 hours after spraying it, it goes down to about 29%. It's always at 29% if I don't spray it. Can I use reptile moss in there to keep the humidity up? Not as a substrate, but in a large container or something? I was also thinking of getting him another water dish, but I'm running out of room in there! Any ideas or advice would be great :) Also are there any serious consequences of having low humidity for a Royal? I do keep it up, but a few hours after I spray it, it goes straight back down. And of course I don't want him becoming ill! Thank you
They won't shed properly if the humidity is too low. Some things you can do is add extra water bowls to the tank. Also get a different bedding. Aspen is horrible when wet. It gets moldy and mushy. Try something like 100% cypress mulch. Holds humidity pretty good.
