I had an interview as a hostess, I got called for the first interview not even a day later, and that interview was today 6 hours ago, they just called me for the second interview and they put it at 3:30, but I was in the shower so it went to voicemail. They said if I had a problem with the time we could work it out, but I think it might look bad if I have to change the time for an interview, like if I have to change that, how would I be able to work etc. I mean, I think they want to hire me because of how fast they're doing everything, I'm just afraid to call. I might be able to make it, but I would either have to go 30 minutes early, or take the risk of being late! I would only need them to push it back ten minutes... should I ask them to move it?
just call them back and tell them you're not available at that time. Don't tell them why or try to explain yourself just say, "I'm really sorry but I cannot make it to the 3:30 interview, is there another day or time we can schedule for?" it's no going to make you look bad as long as you call in advance (try a day in advance at least).
