I wrote this poem and i just wanted to get some feedback. I don't know what it means to have loved and lost, but I know what it feels like to have never loved at all, and i can say that it is better to have loved and lost. I spend every night dreaming what it would be like to love another, and to be loved by another. All the sorrow of losing the one you love; the gut wrenching pain you feel when you realize they are gone, are feelings that i long to experience.Some people don't agree with this. They believe that being alone is better than the pain of loving. However, the pain will eventually be mended by time. Being alone is an eternal suffering that only gets worse as time goes on. It may be true that I have never loved and lost, but it must be better than the deep pit of loneliness that I live in.
