I'm an introvert as well, a person who spends most of his time inside. (I'm 49 and actually physically disabled now, so it's not like I can really go and do much, although I did go to my city's waterfront area with a few friends a couple weeks ago.) Things I used to do were go outside and sit on the porch and play my guitar. I even liked doing yard work like weeding flower beds in my parents' houses' yard. (That was years ago though, but it got me out of the house.) I went to college and had jobs, yet all the way through it I was an introvert (but not 'shy' and unable to talk). ~~~~~~~~ Perhaps step 1 in your case is to turn off your computer and internet for an hour a day and go for a walk and say "Hi" to people you meet along the way. Pretty soon you will not be so addicted to staying inside all the time.
