Do light weight training then running.
First do a lot of cardio and fat burning workouts. DIET is important!! You must cut down and eat healthier! Or it'll be hitting the gym non stop to burn the calories. Trust me it's worth it. Then start weight lifting, and you could eat normally because the fat will go into the muscles
we bulk up muscles via weight bearing exercises - eat lots of protein and reduced fat/carbs
Lift, run, and work at different muscles too. Try lifting one day then run the next then do another muscle the next day then go back to lifting the next. Try not to work on 1 muscle everyday. The muscle has to grow and develop.
