my transmission has apparently had water in the transmission fluid and the fluid look more like water than trans fluid and i didnt realize this for 4 days, how bad of damage could it have done to it?
The clutch material in the transmission is designed to be exposed only to oil. A very small amount of water will permanently damage the clutch packs. Unfortunately I think you'll have trouble. I have now seen this 3 times when tranny coolers fail and each time was disaster.
if its not slipping and shifts and you caught it early it will probably be alright if you fix the problem ..
