I have a laptop a VAIO Sony model PCG-7142L and it is fill with a bunch of viruses. It still turn on and stuff, all I need to know is how to get pass the Window Error Recovery (Launch Start Up Repair or Start Window Normally) because the latter takes ages, and the formal doesn't fix it. I need to access some important documents and projects through this computer. It worked exceptionally well until I landed on a wrong website and gave me the FBI virus. So please any advices will be helpful. If I need a recovery disk/cd, can you please suggest me what to get, sorry for being such a noob. Oh! Also- if all is lost, then I want to do a factory reset. Or like the whole freaking thing wash up and restart as if it's brand new. I just want this computer to work again. -take in mind, i'm 15 year old. so, please explain it simple as possible.
I've never personally dealt with the FBI virus, so I couldn't tell you exactly how to deal with that besides search Google for answers. Otherwise it sounds to me like you may just need to do a factory reset.
