It's a female, thinking it a yellow belly slider, not sure tho.
It's not a yellow bellied slider or a painted turtle. Based on what the photo shows, it looks like a red-eared turtle without the red neck stripes- it looks like they have faded. Would like to see the rest of the turtle though.
