Girls do dress up a lot for my school at times. I myself often wear these wedges, actually I've worn them about twice this week. Once with a high low dress, the other with a tee that says, "My bad." But tonight, I bought this lovely skater dress, and while I was originally going to wear it with my flats, I kind of want to wear it with my wedges instead. Problem? They're both black. I do wear dark clothing a lot, but never straight out black. And I have no belts that work with the dress that aren't black, and no scarves I can Macgyver as a belt. No colorful tights either, mostly dark wardrobe with pops of color so I'm no to goth looking xD Well, question is, after all that unnecessary rambling, would wedges and this dress work together, or should I wear flats with the dress? Or, yes another 'or', should I wait on the dress and find a cinched belt to wear with it that's either probably burgundy or violet? *Welp, the wedges won't show. 'sigh'. Anyways, they are three inch black faux suede wedge booties, that lace up. Not to hard to find if you google c:*
You can try cardigan. It'll make the look more casual and it won't be that black
It might seem a little dressy with wedges. If you wear the wedges, wear a jean jacket or cardigan or add on a casual-looking belt.
I think it's adorable! But really, if it makes you feel good about yourself and makes you feel beautiful, wear it. Screw what anyone else thinks, it's all about how you feel about yourself in it! It doesn't matter how fancy it is, just as long as you love it. So I say, if you like it, go for it!!
I would wear it, but don't make it look too dressy. Wear a jean jacket/vest.
Black on black never disappoints.
