It is in early Spring in the upper Midwest. Temperatures will likely be in the 50's. A morning wedding. I was thinking of pairing it with a black pencil skirt and festive jewelry/colored pumps. Can I wear a white blouse? I don't think either men will be wearing "all white," and there will be no mistaking me for the bride whatsoever. I also read that you shouldn't wear black to a wedding. Is a black skirt ok, even if it's a morning wedding?
Go with a white blouse but finish the look with a bright necklace or scarf. Don't wear a black shirt with a black skirt to a morning wedding. Congrats to the grooms!
I think it's ok to wear a white blouse but you might want to pare it with a cardigan or jacket. And I think it's fine to wear a black skirt.
