"savages" ....who introduced Europeans to modern standards of hygiene, modern democracy, equal rights for women, acceptance of homosexuals and tolerance for other religions and races. Also, the concept of "all men created equal". As opposed to Europeans at that time, who were into burning people at the stake for expressing different ideas about religion, treating women like property under the law, living in filthy conditions, and bowing to inbred kings. yeah.....
