I dream I had a colourful budgie, who I let outside to exercise knowing it will come back. Darkness fell and I looked up at the budgie in the tree who was stretching its wings and showing off... I thought, oh dear it should be coming back in now as it's dark outside. I was at the front door of my home (a property I have never been to in real life) which is at the top of a high flight of stairs. I look down to the front yard and see a big tiger quite quickly prowling down the street looking for something to eat. It stops at my front yard as it can smell my pet chihuahua (which is safe, inside) and decides to sit and wait for my dog so it can eat her. It sits in a really human-like position, I found that quite strange in my dream. The tiger does not look up and see me watching it. Although I know the tiger could be a threat to me I am calm. Then, no sooner had the tiger sat down to wait, a big wolf appears and bites the tiger's face, in the eye, immediately disabling it. The tiger didn't struggle it just flopped down, debilitated. The wolf moves around it and bites it's face again. The tiger is now dead. The wolf then looks directly up at me. It has red eyes. and I am struck with fear. My next thought is that I must close the door and lock it with the keys before the wolf attempts to run up the stairs and attack me. I feel guilty for locking the budgie out but I know it will be fine because it can fly to safety. I woke up upset, and immediately locked my doors!
