Is a 1660 on the SAT a good score for a student who just finished 10th grade and the required math courses?

I got a 540 on the critical reading and writing and a 580 on the math section. I doubled up on math my sophomore year so I was wondering if that could have influenced my score negatively and I didn't have any prep for the test. I also have a problem with the time so I didn't do about 9 problems on the math section and feel that I have to rush through all the sections. If I improved my time management and could actually finish the passages instead of skimming them and could finish the math section how much could my score improve? And how good is a 1660 for a student who just finished 10th grade?
That's actually nice! 1660 isn't a bad score to me... The reading is always something that wastes the most time (to me) in the SAT so if you have some trick to answer the questions quickly without reading much then awesome! But sometimes, you need to read the whole passage to be able to answer. Reading quickly doesn't help because you're just skimming them and it can actually make you re-read because you didn't remember the things you read or you go "what?" after reading because you probably didn't understand what it was trying to say. I think time management is wonderful. Do the easy questions first (that you can just know the answer right away or just read a little). The long questions, leave it aside. Make sure to pace yourself when doing it. ^^
Good is pretty relative. Ask a kid at MIT and theyd obviously say no. It all depends on what your goals are. For top-tier schools a 2100 is usually the key number. But 1660 is a great number for a lot of good schools out there. If you consider good to be above average, then yes it is a good score in terms of everyone who takes the SAT because 1500 is roughly the average score.
