yes it's illegal unless it's a po box, like me we don't get mail at our address. (small town bs in my opinion.) if someone used your address as theirs call the company or DMV and tell them that they don't liver there. after that if your still getting their mail send it back.

Not really, as long as you use that address time to time. If you used some totally unrelated address, that would not be a good idea, since any communications re: insurance, tickets, etc. will go there, and your not receiving them is not an excuse.
It is a stupid thing to do, because any notifications would come to your address, but if you have some communication from one of them, send it back with "not known at this address".
