Is it okay to reset my Samsung Galaxy S4?

Posted at: 2014-06-09
My Galaxy S4 is all messed up because I turned off a ton of apps and restored many google apps with the factory version. My carrier is sprint and I'm still on my two year contract. My sim is in its slot in the back of the phone. Is it safe to reset my phone and not screw up my phone number and carrier plan? Is there a consequence to this besides losing your stuff?

factory reset doesnt diddly sqat to your wireless carrier account and phone number!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! internal memory (and SD card if option is chosen) is affected..... factory resets wipe all data off the phone and restores it to pre-box conditions.... like on day 1 minute 1 second when you first got then phone in your little hands.... SD card is safe---not unless you chose the "format sd card too" option during factory reset. the only things that affect your account and phone number is not paying your bill, getting disconnected, getting terminated, canceling service, physically dying, or leaving the country.....
