I've been taking my pulse pressure over the past six days. My pulse pressure has fluctuated from: 30 to 57; with the highest amt being in the 30s (9), then 40s (6), then 50s (4). When I averaged it all out, the pulse pressure = 42.7. I'm worried about my heart being weak--particularly the left ventricle. Considering my numbers, is this something I should be concerned about? Is it normal for the pulse pressure to fluctuate from 30 - 57? My blood pressure has ranged from: 151/93 - 110/79, with the average: 127/84. The pulse has ranged from 57 - 81, with the average being: 69. Thank you.
I don't know off hand the pulse pressure but your blood pressure is quite erratic the diastolic being high is a concern. Does it fluctuate when at complete rest? Or are you anxious at the time of these readings? You seem to know a lot about the heart is there not a colleague that can help you out with this?
