Just recently, myself and families computer internet connection went really slow. We can't download files, efficiently surf the web or stream videos off websites like sockshare, gorillavid and putlocker. It's been a really big inconvenience to everyone. Some of my family are convinced it's because of local internet traffic, but my friends around the corner have a fine connection! I've already tried to restart our modem, but nothing happened. Thanks for the help, we really need it!
Try reseting your router and restarting devices. Maybe there are too many users using it simultaneously, or perhaps your ISP is slowed down for some reason. Your friends might use a different ISP. Do you use DSL, satellite or cable? Make sure there aren't any cables unplugged. Take a speedtest at speedtest.net and see if it matches up with what you pay for. You might want to call your ISP and see if they are having trouble.
