Did the US achieve most of their goals there? Or failing most of them? Are they defeating most of the enemies there?
We plan on concluding our combat mission over there by the end of the year, having successfully (thus far) gotten the Afghan National Army into well enough shape to handle their own affairs, just like we did with Iraq a few years ago. That would be a mission accomplished.
