I found a bunny in my front lawn and he looked sick and my cat was eyeing him so i brought him inside and he's not moving much and taking shallow breaths. My mom and I are going to take him to the vet. Is he dying? Please help!
I live in the country so know really well to leave animals alone. If he was just lying there than there probably was something really wrong with it. Rabbits carry diseases very easily. There is a wide range of varieties that is could be. A bad sickness that he could not live through (sorry) to being attacked and although no outward signs could have internal bleeding, and there is really nothing that could be done about that. Please please please next time you touch wild animals make sure to wear gloves and long sleeves if you didn't. Its sad enough for the bunny to get sick but it would be worse for you. :)
Always be wary of sick animals you don't know. Handling a sick rabbit may not be a good idea.
just take him to the vet right away it'll be okay good luck
sick or injured wild animals can transmit rabies if they bite you,id let it be just give it water and call the wildlife control,theyll take care of the rabbit.
