When we watch music awards shows on TV nowadays, almost all of them have fans closed into a small area at the very front center, right in front of the stage, separated from all the stars and other guests at the venue. I've seen it on the Grammy's, the ACM Awards, MTV Awards, and many other music awards shows the last few years. Here's the questions: How do the fans in those small areas get out for refreshments? How do they leave to use the bathroom and get back in? If or when they get back in, how do they squeeze back next to their friend/relative/significant other? These questions have me puzzled. 3-6 hours seems like a really long time to have to stand in that little area without drinks or breaks. They have to get out periodically somehow without interfering with the show.
