I am unable to connect to the internet,, yet connected wirelessly to network?

So, after installing Bitdefender on my my GF's computer, I ran the antivirus software. It found and deleted a number of things. Now, despite full bars on the wifi, it cannot connected to the internet, yet is able to wirelessly pull files off of my main computer, without a cord or flashdrive. (Ironically, I downloaded the latest driver for the usb wifi thing she was using, Linksys AE2500) So, her computer is wirelessly connected to my computer, but is unable to wirelessly connect to the internet? Not sure how that's possible, I feel like I'm getting Punk'd
You may have accidentally deleted an important file. The internet on your computer works by connecting to the router. The router than connects to the modem which connects to your ISP. Your ISP hooks you up to the internet. You might be connected to your router but your ISP isn't giving you internet. Try using the internet on your computer. If it works than it is probably a problem with your GF's computer.
