I was recently given a Westinghouse VR-3225 1080p TV that the previous owner said i could have if i could fix it. I turned it on and was surprised to see a faint "no input" picture that was choppy, the words were very static and pixelated in a sense. So the first thing i tried was cleaning the connections and reconnecting every connection in the back and then I turned it on and, viola, it has a picture. However, the picture i have gotten is dull and doesnt look exactly right. When I hooked my xbox up to it, reds seemed a little pink, when playing games. Ive tried every setting change on the tv and it still just looks off and when it is just black you can see patches of grey and lesser black areas. Is it the inverter? I work on comupters so im willing to try and replace whatever part or cable is broken. Any suggestions?
put it in the bin and get a new one with warranty
