Felix is 10 and has had a kidney condition which makes throw his food back up. For years he has taken steroids on and off but lately he has lost weight and not eaten much. My mum took him to the vets a few days ago and he was given Zantac which he hates, and has to be syringed into his mouth(it's a liquid). Today I know he has changed, he came over to me and purred. He hides when he is ill and he hasn't done that since being put in the bathroom. He is being fed but hasn't eaten any, my mum says his gums look jaundice due to not eating. He has an appointment for today, we will ask the vet what to do, but I want to hold onto him. He lost his mum(my first cat) when he was around 3 months old and I have raised him since he was a newborn. I have another cat who is WAY different then him. But nothing will compare to him. Last year he had a blood test done which came back clear. No one knows what's wrong with him. The other cats are fine, all are indoor cats. Has anyone know what this could be? I am really concerned but want to know what the hell has been attacking my cat for all these years.
Jaundice means there's a liver problem too.
