Hi! I'm doing a project for school on the Day of the Dead, and I wanted to do a small video demonstration of the "skull makeup" that some people paint on their faces during the festival. I wanted to know if anyone knew some kind of tool I can use to try out painting the make up on before I do it on an actual human face. As in some kind of facial model you can buy at a store, or something else (I'm not quite sure how to word it, so I know it sounds weird). Thanks in advance!
I would suggest just printing out a face chart (or drawing one if you're talented like that) and drawing it on the face chart. Once you've got the idea down, see if a friend or family member will let you practice! It's always best to do makeup on a real face. Those mannequins at beauty supply stores are absolutely awful for makeup practice. P.S. Good luck!
