Which instrument?

If you could play either of these two instruments, which would you play? Violin or Piano Which is harder to learn? (just curious for you guys' opinions) Thanks.
I have previously played the violin and its a lot like a guitar except with a bow instead of a pick, if you can master how to move your top fingers it isnt that hard. Piano is good for starting out as you can do simple tunes and progress to more complex ones. The violin would be more rewarding to play though. Nicer sound :-)
Should I wash my whites with my cats?
I had quite the reputation as a master pianist at Julliard but could never create a sound on the violin that didn't sound like a puppy drowning.
I play both. I do not think violin is boring but I will never be as good on the violin as I am on the piano.
PIANOOO Violin is sooooo boring (in my opinion!) I have a piano, and it is a lot of fun. Violin might hurt your ear, and you can't have as much fun as a piano! I want a guitar, those are the BESTT, or drums.
I both learn violin and piano. In my opinion piano is more for beginners in music but is still good and easy. Violin can have a wonderful sound when played properly. But both are amazing!!
If you can play classical piano. I would do anything for you. Gay or straight. Classical piano makes me melt. I love it so much. I wish I could play. Im just not creative. In Austria during Bach and Mozart times, they considered the violin devils music (sounds like screaming agony). But when played right it is a beautiful instrument. (Not as beautiful as piano lol)
I played violin in school. If I tried now I would fail miserably. I imagine piano would hurt your fingers also. I think piano would be more difficult to learn. But that doesn't stop me from wanting to learn the piano.
