What should show on credit report after bankruptcy?

Hello, In Jan 2009 I had declared bankruptcy due to illness and I was just now looking over my credit report. I noticed that one of my closed accounts said I was 60 days late with payment in March 2009. Since I had already declared bankruptcy in January, should this even be on the report? Shouldn't it just say something like "account closed, included in bankruptcy"? Is that 60 days late payment affecting my attempt to rebuild my credit? This is what is says exactly : Prior Paying History:Two payments past due ( 2009-03 ) One payment past due ( 2009-02 ) Comments:Account Closed I've been trying very hard to rebuild my credit and haven't missed a single payment on anything since I declared. The above account should have already been closed in January so I'm afraid this might be the reason my credit score is going up so slowly. My score is 610 with five years of no missed payments on anything at all. Could someone please offer me some advice? (no mean advice please!!)
Are you sure when you claimed bankruptcy that account was included in the filing?
A late payment from March 2009 is not causing your credit score to be low. That's over 5 years old and would have almost no impact on your report. If your credit score is low from a Jan, 2009 BK filing, it's because you aren't doing recent credit transactions to improve it.
