i'm a huge Wings fan and thinking of doing it tomorrow. Has anybody done it or know anybody who's done it? I've researched it and saw that I'd most likely get ejected... which I'm ok with. But there are some accounts where there are fines whereas other accounts where they only eject you. And then I see that some people have even been charged. I'm a die hard but I don't want anything on my record. Does anybody have any type of answer/ first hand account?
At the very least you'll be ejected from the game, and at worst face criminal mischief charges. I can tell you from personal experience: Me and a buddy went to a Leafs game back in 2011 (this was when the Leafs were sucking ***), anyways a fan decided to throw waffles on the ice, he managed to run off before security could evict him. He was caught on camera, the cops were called in and were able to track him down, he was charged with several criminal offences including mischeif. My advice- If your gonna do it, you better know the fastest way out of the arena and you better be prepared to run like hell because security will chase you down.
