Do you agree it is good to see the lowered crime rate in Chicago since concealed carry permits have been issued?

C&C - for that matter, gun control laws or lack thereof - really don't have all that much impact on crime. FBI compiled crime statistics prove that conclusively. The biggest factor in crime rates? Local poverty rates. The higher the percentage of people living under the poverty level, the higher the crime rate. It tracks with over 90% accuracy... and spots where it doesn't track are almost always spots that have an abrupt surge or decline in police presence. So, to lower CRIME rates, you must lower POVERTY rates.
I am pro gun but the crime rate has only "dropped" in Chicago because the corrupt pigs have been fudging the numbers to make them seem less useless than they actually are.
People in housing complexes are less likely to try to mug a well armed citizen than somebody that is vulnerable.
The crime rate in Chicago has been dropping consistently since 2011, and has nothing to do with concealed carry permits. "We are making significant progress by putting additional officers in high-crime areas, using intelligence to prevent retaliatory shootings, moving officers from administrative positions back to the streets," Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy said in a statement.
