I just bought "the runt" of a beautiful Great Dane litter, and I was wondering if he will be small or grow to be his normal size? He is very playful and I feel like he will grow big.
Oh he will still grow to a danes size! Just maybe an inch or two shorter. That'll be the only difference between him and a dane who isn't the runt of a litter!
The runt of the litter is typical smaller than his brothers and sisters, but will still grow to Great Dane size! He will be on the smaller side for Danes but will still be rather large as Danes are!
