Puppies are born with a fuzzy baby coat, and it sheds out as they grow their adult coat around 3 months of age. With the baby coat still on, it can be hard to tell. Your puppy looks like a schnoodle, which can either have the wire-hair characteristic of a schnauzer, a soft and curly poodle coat, or something in between. Your puppy looks like he will be on the wire-haired end of the spectrum, but there is always a chance that he will develop a curlier coat later on. I hope this helps, and your puppy-to-be is very adorable!
It's hard to tell in young puppies, you usually can't really tell their coat type until around 12 weeks (3 months) but you can usually have a pretty accurate guess. I would say, from my experience, this dog is going to be more of a wired hair dog.
